Child Care PDF Print E-mail

The mission of TOBC's Children's ministry is to lead children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Because we believe the scriptures to be the inspired Word of God, we will use God's Word as the foundation upon which we base all of our teaching.

We consider parents to be the primary source of Biblical instruction for their children and view our children's ministry as a means by which we can reinforce Biblical teaching already provided at home.

Excellence in our ministry is our goal and therefore, we ensure teachers receive the necessary training, encouragement and support to provide spiritual instruction and unconditional love to each child.

Newborn-2 years

Quality nursery care is provided during the 9:15 a.m. Sunday School hour, the  10:30 a.m. Worship Hour, as well as during the 6:00 p.m. monthly Sunday Fellowship. Careful attention is given to provide a clean, well-staffed, loving, and cheerful atmosphere where initial attitudes about God are formed.

3-4 years & 5-Kindergarten

A scripturally based curriculum is utilized when teaching Preschool through Kindergarten-aged children and God's Word is reinforced through stories, songs, games, and crafts during both the Sunday School  hour at 9:15 a.m. and Worship service at 10:30p.m. Child care for children in this age group is available during the 6:00 p.m. monthly Sunday Fellowship.

Primary Grades 1-6

Primary and Junior Sunday School classes are taught by competent, caring, trained teachers who love the Lord Jesus and children. A structured program is used to ensure that children learn and understand God's love and direction in their lives as revealed by the Bible.

Kids Klub (Pre-K-Grade 6)

Kids Klub meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:10 p.m. during the school year. Our aim is to see children come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and to help those who are already saved to grow in their faith.  Each night has a fun and exciting theme!
